Annual Red Cross Blood Drive
Each year Honesdale Rotary, in
coordination with the Red Cross, hosts a blood drive at the
Lemnitzer Armory, Tryon Street, Honesdale. "2008 stood to be
our best year ever with 146 liters donated", said past
president Betty Caruth. "Working closely with Bold Gold Media,
we proved once again that the networking capabilities of
Honesdale Rotary members' reach far beyond this community and
into neighboring areas." Thanks to all of Wayne County for
making this blood drive a success! |

Rotary's Fun Family Root Beer
Stand
The Fun Family Root Beer Stand
can be found at festivals and events throughout the area.
Money raised from these fundraising events support local
projects including ARC Day Camp, the Boy Scouts, Dessin
Animal Shelter, Greater Honesdale Partnership, Honesdale
High School Scholarship Program, Local Little League and
more. Honesdale Rotary, helping the community one mug of
rootbeer at a time!
